Guaranteed RAM
What exactly is Guaranteed RAM? How is it different than ordinary RAM and where could you get it?
RAM is an abbreviation for Random Access Memory. This is a kind of computer memory, that, unlike other storage devices like hard disk drives or DVDs, enables the information to be accessed directly without reading the previous content saved inside it. Whenever a program is launched, it's stored within the RAM, because it can be accessed much quicker than if it was read from another media. With regards to the hosting service itself, additional RAM means that more web apps can run at the same time on a given server, particularly when they're resource-demanding and are accessed by a significant number of people simultaneously. In contrast to a shared web hosting plan where the system resources of a particular account could be flexible and sometimes depend on what other users consume as well, a VPS has a guaranteed amount of RAM that can be used all the time. That memory is allocated to one web server only and shall not be used by other customers even if it is not used.

Guaranteed RAM in VPS Hosting
If you decide to host your sites on a
virtual private server bought from our company, the amount of RAM you will get with it shall be guaranteed and will be available constantly no matter what. The VPS accounts are set up on efficient servers and when your virtual server is set up, the RAM memory that comes with the particular plan will be "locked", so even when you use only a part of it at one point while another VPS account is using most of its resources, we shall not allot the free RAM from your account even temporarily. This is valid when you upgrade the total memory of the virtual server too - the extra amount shall be added to your existing account fully. You shall be able to upgrade either the whole plan or only the server’s RAM with just a few clicks through the billing CP.

Guaranteed RAM in Dedicated Web Hosting
All of our
dedicated server plans include a great deal of physical memory, that will allow you to run very heavy web applications without any difficulties. We use brand new and extensively tested hardware components when we install a new server to make sure that there won't be any problems of any kind. The RAM memory isn't an exception and if you acquire a dedicated server, we shall ensure that you get the best general performance possible from the configuration which you have picked out. Even if we determine that you're not using the total capacity of the hosting server, we will never alter the hardware in any way, so the total amount of RAM that will be at your disposal shall always be the same. You will be able to check the configuration, including the physical memory, in your billing Control Panel at any time.
